• Open the StudyQR app and sign in.
• Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
• Confirm that you understand it cannot be undone, and enter your password.

Your account and data are deleted straight away. You can do this whatever the status of your account — including while it is waiting for your school to approve it.

If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] from the email address you registered with, with the subject "Delete my StudyQR account". Sending it from that address lets us confirm the account is yours.

We will delete your account and data within 30 days and confirm by email. If we cannot confirm that the account is yours, we will ask you for more information first.

• Your account and login, so you would need to sign up again to come back.
• Your profile: photo, bio, date of birth, school and grade, grades, achievements and their documents, languages, skills, hobbies and interests.
• Your parent or guardian contact details.
• Your posts, photos, comments and likes, who you follow and who follows you, your event plans and check-ins, and the reports and blocks you made.
• Your profile in every university's student list on StudyQR, and the record of the universities you shared your profile with.
• Your notification settings and the devices registered to receive notifications.

• A university that already received your details — because you chose to share your profile with it — may have saved them in its own systems. To have them removed there too, contact that university directly.
• Information we are required to keep by law, for as long as the law requires.
• Crash reports, which are linked only to an anonymous account ID, are deleted automatically by our crash-reporting provider after its retention period.
